What Has Sex To Do With Yeast Infections?

It's been a wonderful evening with the most wonderful girl you've every met. Her perfume is so tempting and almost intoxicating. After a long kiss you know she's "the one". Her eyes pass from you to a slow movement toward the bedroom. The next thing you know, you're in bed together and as the evening ends you feel like you are in a dream.

Little did you realize that sex is one of the leading causes of yeast infection in man, especially penile yeast infection. It's not a one-way ticket either. Not only can a female partner who has a vaginal yeast infection infect a man during intercourse, but a man with a penile yeast infection can infect his partner.

Your first clue that you have a penile yeast infection is a reddish irritation on your penis which may also create a nagging itch. This can eventually lead to other symptoms.

Just remember that yeast infection will always be a threat to man and woman. Knowing this and being aware can be of great benefit to both. In our later blogs you will read some things you can do to understand the reality of yeast infection in man.
